The aim is not to document stories, but to understand how systems shape lives, how trust erodes, and how people position themselves between belonging and refusal.
These texts do not stand apart from the artworks.
They sit underneath them.
#01 Between belonging and refusal: temporary and chronic homelessness as diverging trajectories
This report emerged from years of walking the streets: initially alone, later alongside social workers.
It traces how people experiencing homelessness often remain capable, yet broken by repeated failure and loss of trust.
Some continue trying to re‑enter society. Others step away.
The difference matters.

This report continues the series on homelessness, moving from encounter and differentiation toward a deeper question: what happens after people meet the system?
Two rich cities, extensive services, and yet instability remains a constant.
This report does not examine entry into homelessness, but the failure to move out of it.
